Tragic Arizona Plane Crash; 6 Confirmed Dead

In a heartbreaking story, all six people on board a private plane that crashed in Arizona have been confirmed.  The plane crashed in the Superstition Mountains in Arizona where the terrain, valleys and peaks make it extremely difficult to navigate through.

The Pinal County Sheriff, Paul Babeu confirmed the fatalities but the search and recovery teams are continuing to look for the wreckage and remains.

The plane was a twin-engine Rockwell AC69  was registered to Ponderosa Aviation Inc. of Safford. and was owned by Russell Hardy, 31, who was the pilot at the time of the crash.  Aboard the plane were Hardy; mechanic Joseph Hardwick, 22;  pilot Shawn Perry, 39 and his three children, Morgan Perry, 9; Logan Perry, 8 and Luke Perry, 6.

Federal Investigators from both the NTSB and FAA are being sent to the scene and will be responsible for looking into the causes of the crash.
