Oregon Plane Crash Leaves at Least One Dead Near Champoeg State Park

It has been reported that two planes collided collided mid-air on Tuesday near Champoeg State Park in Oregon.  The park is located nearly 20 miles south of Portland.  One of the planes involved in the crash was able to make an emergency landing while the other crashed nose-first into the ground.

Reports have indicated that the plane that made the emergency landing was being flown by a student at the time of the collision.  Both the FAA and the NTSB will be investigating this crash to determine the cause.
